Our Mission

Fight climate change—and build community.

We’re going to help people like you grow millions of redwoods and sequoias in the Northwest. We’re going to bring people together, too.

Bringing millions of these giant trees to our region might sound like a Herculean task.

But with the right people and the right technology, it’s easier than you might think to do something today that will impact the world forever.

What We Do

Propagate and grow millions of coast redwoods and giant sequoias in the Northwest, utilizing private and public lands, to fight climate change and enhance our region’s natural beauty. We secure and distribute saplings and seedlings, help with finding land for planting, and seek ways to scale the program and continue adding trees to our landscape.

How It Works

The Archangel Ancient Tree Archive (AATA), a Michigan nonprofit, has used  cloning methods to replicate the genetics of the oldest, largest trees in existence—coast redwoods and giant sequoias. The genetics of about 50 mother trees have been archived. PropagationNation has partnered with AATA to plant clones of these giants in the Northwest. You can even clone trees yourself!
