• Home Gardeners and Tree Enthusiasts: If you have space and a love for trees, our seedlings are perfect for you. Please note that the minimum purchase is 10 seedlings, so you’ll have plenty of trees to create your own mini forest or share with friends and family!

Planting Guidelines

To ensure the best growth and health of your redwood and giant sequoia seedlings, it’s important to follow some simple planting guidelines:

• Nursery Lifts: We work with our partner nurseries to grow our seedlings, which will be ready to lift in the winter when they are dormant. Our shop provides three shipping months that you can choose from–December, January and February, and should be planted as soon as you receive them to avoid freezing weather.
• Minimum Purchase: The minimum order is 10 seedlings, providing a great start for any reforestation project or backyard grove.
• Spacing Requirements: For optimal growth, we recommend planting each seedling at least 30 feet apart. This spacing allows the trees to grow tall and strong without competing for resources like sunlight and water.
• Planting Instructions: Each purchase includes detailed planting instructions to help you get started. Following these guidelines will help your trees thrive and contribute to a healthier ecosystem.
